I'm glad I've left, I feel bad for the 6th form people, I'd be hanging from a tree right now if I was James Pooley. Send him to ace please. He told me he is going to do it.
Have to say I am disappointed with this school overall - as many reviews have said they seem to be happy that pupils aim to be average. Teachers are a mixed bunch - some are excellent and really care, others seem less enthusiastic. It is a shame as this school has a lot of potential - but I do not feel they are not getting the best of out staff and pupils alike.
normally snitches get stitches, but in the ivory towers of tavvy high they get called ELF's, recieve burnt toast and green coloured hoodies so the grasses of the school are easier to spot
Only seems to have the resources to cater to those aiming for mediocre grades. If you're looking to be able to have any shred of pride for what you achieve at this school, be prepared to figure out 90% of the content yourself, otherwise you'd be better off somewhere else. They won't mention this, but the Sixth-Form is listed in the bottom 40% in the U.K., which means students technically qualify for potentially lowered entry requirements to Universities, though this ultimately gave no benefit to me, and I'm still having to go for As and A*s in all three subjects just to make the cut to a top 10 UK University for Physics. So if those lowered entry requirements seem like they'd make up for it being an otherwise bad school, they probably in fact won't.
Decent school, the teachers should have a better knowledge of memes though. For example Ainsley Harriott, Pepe, and Harvey Price. All of these are not considered as memes by teachers which is upsetting. I feel as if the Secretary of State for Education (Nicky Morgan) should consider introducing a week long course which would educate teachers about memes and their place in our youths culture. Memes are paving the future of our society, they are the slabs that future generations will walk on, except from DJ Khaled, as they would break beneath his enormous weight. I believe that Ethan and Hila Klein would be suitable in advising on the content of the course, as they are truly meme masters. Their vast and extensive knowledge of the study of memes would be a true asset to the construction of this truly revolutionary course.
